World Tavern Trivia Teams and Big Brains,
It’s our
turn to give back to the community.
Week after
week we enjoy playing free trivia at bars…and now it’s our turn to give back!
This holiday season we are introducing the Cans for Points promotion at all bars
that would like to participate. This is where teams can get extra starting
points for donating food.
Plus, the
bar that collects the most food in weight (by sending us a receipt from the
food bank) will win the opportunity to send an extra team to the World Tavern
Trivia Nationals where they could win their share of $10,000 in Cash prizes.
The winning bar will host a Cans for Points trivia game (this will be an extra
game during this season). The team that wins the Cans For Points game will also
qualify for the World Tavern Trivia Nationals.

Here’s how
it works.
Bring
in 5 canned goods per team to any participating World Tavern Trivia
Game from Dec 1, 2011 through Dec 21,2011 and get an extra 20 points!
Not only
will this give you a nice advantage, it will also be a wonderful thing to do
during the holiday season!
Here’s
what we need:
- One player/big
brain/bar owner from each location to head up the collection and to ensure
the cans are delivered to your local food banks.
- Simply e-mail
Yolanda at Yolanda@WorldTavernEntertainment.com with your name and the
name of your bar if you would like to participate.
- Contact your
local food bank and get the details on drop off times, etc… Here is a link
to search for a food bank in your area. Feeding American
- We will post a
list of participating bars on the website, but also be sure to check with
your Big Brain to see if they are participating.
- Take a photo
of all the food and all your players and send it to
Yolanda@WorldTavernEntertainment.com
- Send a copy of your
receipt from your local Food Bank to Yolanda@WorldTavernEntertainment.com
by midnight December 23.
Note:
The winning bar must hold their Cans For Points Trivia
Game by the end of the Winter 2012 season.
