Week after week we enjoy playing and hosting World Tavern Trivia. Now it’s our turn to give back to the community!

This holiday season (Dec 1st thru Dec 31st), we are introducing Toys For Tots and Cans for Points at participating Trivia bars.

Helping out is its own reward, but as a way to spur on donations, we are offering a GREAT incentive to participate!

The bar that collects the most toys or canned food items will win the opportunity to send one team to the 2018 World Tavern Trivia Nationals, where they will compete to win their share of $10,000 in cash prizes!

HOW IT WORKS:

Each team brings 1 toy (see list below) or 3 canned goods to any participating World Tavern Trivia venue on their game night from December 1st thru December 31st. Those teams get an extra 30 starting points - but there’s no limit to the amount of items teams can bring!

If your bar chooses Toys For Tots, please bring one or more of the following items:

Small children's toys
Plush stuffed animals
Pack of markers or crayons
Books (for coloring or reading)
Balls for various sports
Dolls or action figures

Want to participate? Simply send an e-mail to ScottB@BiggerCrowds.com with your name, which promotion you want to run (Toys For Tots or Cans For Points), and the name of your bar.

We will post a list of participating bars on the Trivia website (in the Newsletter section) as they come in.

IMPORTANT NOTES

-- One player/big brain/bar owner from each location should head up the collection and ensure the items are delivered to your local Toys For Tots center or food bank.

-- A quick Google search will yield plenty of results if you aren't sure where to donate. If the center or food bank does not give a receipt, you can ask for one to be made for you.

-- To take part in the contest, send a copy of any receipts to ScottB@BiggerCrowds.com.

-- To determine a winner for the contest, the number of cans donated will be divided by 3 to be fair to bars who choose to run Toys For Tots.

-- You can also take photos of your items (along with your teams) and send it to us. We'll highlight you on our Facebook page!

This is such a wonderful way for us to give back to those in need. We hope that many of our awesome Trivia venues and teams will participate.
