Exciting New! Changes in World Tavern Trivia means a More Exciting Game for you! 

Hello World Tavern Trivia Teams.  We hope that you have enjoyed Trivia with us during 2010.  We have some exciting new changes we would like to share with you. 

NEW! POINTS UPATE

• Log on to the site and click on the BONUS QUESTION tab
• Teams have up until game time at your bar to find the answer (research is allowed)
• The new answer sheets have a sport for you to put your answer.
• Voila!  Get the answer correct and get 20 bonus points!
• This will go into effect August 2nd, week 6 of the season
• The question will be updated on the website every Monday at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time

• Your team will get a single sheet at the beginning of each game
• The sheet is perforated so you can tear off the answer sheet for each round
• For Rounds 4-6 you will see the “x2” box for the Double Points Round
• The left hand section which has a variety of announcements, a spot to enter your weekly bonus answer and the back can be used for scratch paper!
• AND THE PENCILS WILL WORK ON THEM

Tavern Championships are coming soon.  Are you ready?  That is right another season has come and is getting ready to end.  The week of June 21st -27th is Tavern Championship week.  Please make sure you are ready to compete.  The Tavern Champion and the number 1 ranked team at the end of the regular season both qualify to play at nationals.  This year the prize pool was $10,000.  Get qualified to win your share.

Congratulations to Redd Foxx Danger from Patrick Henry’s Pub in Richmond, Virginia they are World Tavern Trivia’s 2010 National Champions. 
The final game, of three games, was played at the Eden Lounge at Harrah’s. This was one exciting game as the teams have been flip flopping in placement throughout game one and two. The winners were announced at a Hawaiian Themed party at the Harrah's pool. 
After the final scores were in, The Redd Foxx Danger pulled ahead by 10 points to be crowned World Tavern Trivia’s 2010 National Champions. The scores were so close that the second place team missed first place by 10 points and the third place team by 20 points. So Awesome job to all! 
We also had Best Team Flag award won by Chumbuckets and Best Hawaiian costume won by Fat Bearded Bitch.

We at World Tavern Entertainment had a BLAST at trivia nationals and it was great meeting every team that competed. What an awesome Trivia family! Make sure you keep playing and we hope to see you all at next year’s Nationals. The WTT Team

 WOW! What an awesome trivia event! We have completed The Amazing Trivia Race, it was a fantastic success. The teams completed challenges that took place all over the casino including the parking garage with Blue Collar questions coming from Cleatus AKA Patrick. Teams arrived at Patrick's station to find him under the hood with a muffler in his hand in true blue collar fashion. A life size operation game, equppied with tongs and a battery and the "Let's Get It On" category where teams had to match popular sexual positions (visuals included!) were all a part of the Race. All this happended after one team member was chosen to jump in the pool to dive for category diving sticks that determined their Double Points Round category. After this Round the Top 5 teams were: 1. Redd Foxx Danger 2. Chumbuckets 3. The Knights Who Say Ni 4. Washington Generals 5. Moes Hoes
